Carta del Docente Italy: how to buy online

Carta del Docente is an Italian professional-development benefit. This page is intended for eligible teachers and education staff who can access the official Italian portal. Eligibility, available credit and the categories enabled for each beneficiary must always be checked on that portal before placing an order.

What Carta del Docente can cover at ITPartners

ITPartners has created a dedicated selection of products that we have classified as eligible within our catalogue. The main categories include notebook computers, desktop PCs, all-in-one computers, tablets and selected software. Some e-book readers and educational robotics products can also be assessed when available.

Catalogue availability alone does not confirm eligibility. Use the dedicated product collection and look for the Carta del Docente indication on the product page. ITPartners checks the specific product, while the official portal remains the authority for your personal credit and purchasing window.

Before creating your voucher

  1. Sign in to the official Carta del Docente portal with SPID or CIE.
  2. Check your available balance and whether hardware or software can be purchased in your current personal window.
  3. Select a product from the ITPartners Carta del Docente collection.
  4. If your cart includes accessories or components, ask ITPartners to check the complete cart before generating the voucher.
  5. Create the voucher only after the product and amount have been confirmed.

Hardware and software rules for 2025/2026

For the 2025/2026 school year, the nominal amount is €383 for each eligible beneficiary under the applicable decree. Hardware and software can be purchased when the Carta is first granted and subsequently at four-year intervals. Beneficiaries who had received the Carta before 2025/2026 can purchase hardware and software in 2025/2026; the next purchase follows the four-year interval.

These rules do not allow ITPartners to determine an individual buyer's remaining credit or personal eligibility in advance. The information displayed after signing in to the official portal takes precedence.

Monitors, accessories and components

At ITPartners, monitors, keyboards and mice are not treated as eligible when purchased on their own. They can be assessed only when ordered together with an eligible desktop PC, notebook or tablet and when the combination is coherent.

RAM and graphics cards can be assessed only together with an eligible desktop PC. Smartphones, printers, scanners, consumables, standalone storage devices, cameras, video cameras and projectors are not treated as standalone eligible products.

Do not create a voucher for an accessory-only order. Send us the complete cart first so that both eligibility and technical compatibility can be checked.

How to place the order

  1. Add at least one eligible product to the cart.
  2. At checkout, select the payment method named Carta del Docente.
  3. Complete the order without making an immediate payment.
  4. Follow the instructions shown after the order to send the voucher PDF and the required details.
  5. ITPartners will validate the voucher before fulfilling the order.

If the voucher does not cover the full order, the remaining amount can be paid by bank transfer according to the instructions provided. A mixed cart is possible when it includes at least one eligible product: the voucher is applied only to the portion confirmed as eligible, and the remaining amount or non-covered items are handled separately.

Rules, balances and individual availability can change. Always verify your position on the official portal before creating a voucher. ITPartners can confirm the product and order composition but cannot access or determine your personal Carta del Docente balance.
