Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue is allocated to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by the scientists at Carbon Direct. These companies use the funds to remove the amount of carbon generated by our shipments. Any additional funds are invested in the further development of carbon removal technologies.
